Mission Statement
Community Living Temiskaming South provides services and supports to over 200 individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Founded in 1959 by a group of parents concerned with the lack of services available locally, the Association’s first endeavour was to establish a school for their children.
Recognized as a 'non-profit charitable organization', Community Living Temiskaming South is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our team of dedicated employees are able to provide services thanks to subsidized funding by the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. Other sources of revenue include: the District of Timiskaming Social Services Administration Board, room and board paid by the individuals residing in our group homes, our annual Walkathon fundraiser, as well as donations and bequests.
Community Living Temiskaming South continues to grow and to adapt.
We are committed to support Individuals with Developmental Disabilities to reach their goals and to live a life of their choosing.
