T.E.A.M.S 

Temiskaming Employment and Mentorship Services

is designed to support individuals on their journey to achieving their goals related to employment, volunteering and mentorship as outlined in their Person Centred Plans. Community Inclusion Facilitators are committed to developing community partnerships with local training and employment programs, employers, volunteer services and other service providers to help the individuals we support be an integral part of their community.

 

Supports offered through T.E.A.M.S may include:

  • Coaching and providing learning opportunities that enable individuals to develop decision making and pre-employment skills, exercise choice, and assume responsibility and reasonable risk,

  • Assistance in accessing other services in the community

  • On-going workplace supports through assessment, training and monitoring, Job coaching and shadowing,

  • Assistance with employment opportunities, as well as volunteer, mentorship, education and community activities, and

  • Socialization and skill building opportunities through a monthly Supper Club group.

 

T.E.A.M.S is dedicated to working with individuals to build confidence and to foster empowerment. We are committed to walking in partnership with individuals who need support and in advocating for change and breaking barriers so that everyone has the opportunity to find meaningful work and live in a truly inclusive community.
